Anonymous claim to be protesting the Church of Scientology for its alleged human rights abuses. If this is true, and they really do care about human rights abuses carried out in the name of religion, then why are they so focused on the one religion which has never waged a war, persecuted homosexuals, or executed non-believers?
I will tell you why. Because Anonymous is the public relations front for the Anti-Scientology Racketeers. The rank and file members have been duped into taking action against the Church based solely upon a large body of anti-Scientology propaganda. Of course they would never admit to being so gullible as to fall into a hate-based bandwagon and not even know it. Never mind that every group action they take (which they call "raids") are nothing more than short-term bandwagons.
(Anonymous members dressed up as action heroes from a POPULAR and TRENDY action movie. This in itself demonstrates their innate susceptibility to well managed propaganda/marketing tactics...)
The cyber-bully network known as "Anonymous" is perpetuating a fraud. Their high-minded ideals are just a cover for what they are really doing: having fun. Their protests have more to do with having fun as a subculture than with ending any supposed human rights abuses.
Anonymous' peculiar brand of "activism" is nothing more serious than costumed Star Trek fans attending a convention or camping out in front of a movie theatre. The only difference is, Star Trek fans can differentiate between fact and fiction.

I checked most of your sources when you quote someone else work and 75% of the time you only take a portion of what they say and then change it to fit your argument. I think this is why so many of the people who frequent your web site accuse you of being biased. This is why your not winning the argument when it comes to dealing with these people and especially turning others on to the good side of Scientology. You need to learn to not ague with these people and force your opinions on them. Only post what is solid evidence. I for on think that legal protesting is fine. Some of the things you post here are an absolute farce. They never happened or wont happen. I never hear of anything about terrorist actions against your church except the one article recently about the child from NJ. So I think if your a little more honest the people here will believe you and you wont turn off so many people to your cause. Because the things you say are counter productive and sometimes out right lies and contradictions. Some of the protester cross the line for good taste but I don't think they promote sexual relations with children. Otherwise they would be in jail. And if the government considered the encyclopedia web page to be illegal they would have shut it down. Yes that picture is in VERY bad taste but not illegal. This is not to say I don't belive in your cause.. I believe in your cause. You are fighting to save your religion. I applaud your effort because I believe in the freedoms of America. Including free speech and definitely including freedom of religion. I personally don't think Scientology is a religion, more of a self help program for bettering yourself. But if the US government wants to go on the record to say your organization deserves the same protections of a church them by all means that should be enough. That doesn't mean that this group protesting you doesn't deserve to do so if that group feels like the have been wronged by your church. Allow them to tell you and your churches organization what they feel is being done wrong and have a honest open dialogue and maybe you can pout an end to the constant fighting and bickering and daily protests.

Why not protest other religions? Because Scientology isn't a religion in most countries of the world.
It isn't a religion in France, where it is currently on trial for organized fraud.

Scientology isn't a religion. It's a fraud. That's the whole point.
Just because they blackmailed the IRS and got religious status in the US, doesn't mean it is a religion. It isn't recognized as a religion in most countries of the world. I am not from the US and it is not recognized as a religion in my country. Therefore i am not protesting a religion, i am protesting a fraud system.

I do not really care for anonymous, but I really REALLY don't care for Scientology. In responce to Adam about the whole accusing people of being "slicons" or whatever, i'm sorry but I must side with anonymous on this one. An example is when some chavs were insultung the Plymouth anon group, from what I read one of them tailed the chavs and after they left they were seen cirling back round to the back of the scientology building. Nice. However I do agree that if they are trying to get normal people out of scientology their methods are... hmmmn, crude? oh well, would be funny if both groups finished eachother, but hey, tbh i'd just prefer it if scientology went down, anon can be funny at some points.
